An extra charge for special transport will be imposed only for exclusive items such as historical maps of ancient and great value.
Special care is given to packaging, especially for fragile items such as raised relief maps, planispheres, geographic globes and wall maps. All items are accurately controlled by the person in charge and packaged according to standard procedures before shipment so as to provide maximum integrity and preservation of the product.
Whether damages to either packaging or product are observed at delivery these must be notified without delay by writing “ACCEPTANCE WITH CONTROL RESERVATION” near the signature on the carrier delivery receipt (also called Consignment Note or Waybill) so as to notify the damage before the expiring of the Insurance terms and Conditions of Shipping of the Express Courier. If the packaging is seriously damaged, the Customer shall make a detailed description of the damage also on the delivery receipt.
After signature of the carrier delivery receipt, the Customer cannot make any formal notice concerning the external characteristics of delivered goods.
Furthermore, in case of integrity problems of the ordered products we suggest to contact without delay our Customer Service within seven days from goods delivery.
Express courier shipment fees are applied throughout Italy (except for Sardinia, Sicily and minor islands) according to prices that range according to the total amount of purchased goods.
Exports are made by air cargo carrier and shipping rates are detailed in the air cargo price list; these depend on the total weight of the ordered goods regardless of their type. Extra charges are not included.
All goods available at the warehouse will be shipped as soon as payment is received. Possible delays will be e-mailed within 24 hours from order.
Delivery in Italy takes 3-4 working days (except for Saturday and Sunday) and is made by express courier to main Italian towns.
Delivery to islands or other difficult-to-reach places can take more than 4 days.
Shipments abroad take approximately 7-8 days and are made by express courier.
Time of deliveries is indicative and we will not be deemed responsible for any delay of either carrying out an order or delivery of ordered goods.
Warehouse will be closed during the second and third week in August: deliveries could be delayed.
- if goods cannot be delivered these will be returned to the sender…..(indicate the number of days of undelivered goods and charges for returned goods and possible redelivery)
